Editor review

Jump Cycle is a pulse-platform arcade where platforms appear and disappear on a fixed cycle. Time jumps to land on visible platforms. Thirty-six rounds.

What works is the visual cycle. Platform pulses are clearly visible against the background. Players can predict pulse timing within a few rounds.

Thirty-six rounds with cycle speed escalating. Late rounds have sub-half-second visible windows.

Tested over three Adelaide Central Market afternoon sessions. Touch tap is the natural input.

Where the design earns its rating is the multi-platform layouts. Each round has multiple platforms cycling on different periods. Reading the timing differences is the skill.

Where I would push back is the absence of a rhythm-mode where pulses align with audio. The format would benefit from audio cues.

Three-and-a-half stars. Solid pulse-platform arcade with thoughtful cycle visualisation.
